18:13 Certainly my master is aware of what I did ⁵  when Jezebel was killing the Lord’s prophets. I hid one hundred of the Lord’s prophets in two caves in two groups of fifty and I brought them food and water.

[1:13]  ¹ tn Heb “come, go to.” The imperative of הָלַךְ (halakh) is here used as an introductory interjection. See BDB 234 s.v. חָלַךְ.

[15:23]  ³ tn Heb “As for the rest of all the events of Asa, and all his strength and all which he did and the cities which he built, are they not written on the scroll of the events of the days of the kings of Judah?”

[15:23]  ⁴ tn Heb “Yet in the time of his old age he became sick in his feet.”

[18:13]  ⁵ tn Heb “Has it not been told to my master what I did…?” The rhetorical question expects an answer, “Of course it has!”
